Digital Marketing Intern



About the Role

In this collaborative, entry-level role, you will get a chance to learn important skills and gain professional experience by working on campaigns with our marketing team. Our ideal intern candidate has graphic design skills to produce high-quality, trendy content for social media platforms, including LinkedIn and YouTube. Applicants should be current students in a 4-year post-secondary program, but recent graduates can also apply.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Primary Areas of Responsibility:

  • In this position, you will collaborate directly with key members of our team while working on projects and tasks that will ensure you experience in a real-world business environment.

  • You will oversee projects that will help you build your resume and develop stronger communication, time management, and organizational skills.

  • You’ll be assigned marketing and communication tasks including digital design and social media marketing.

Marketing Communications/Brand Awareness:

  • Develop video content to support Tria Health’s patient education database.

  • Creating content that aligns with our company brand standards and culture.

  • Support the marketing manager in the implementation and development of all advertising and social media (e.g., Tria Health’s LinkedIn, Blog, FB, and Twitter).

  • Intermediate knowledge of PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, creatively communicating messages based on target audiences. Ability to synthesize complicated content into easy-to-understand concepts.

  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage workload efficiently in an environment which can present frequent interruption.


  • Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program (recent graduates considered).

  • Prior internship experience a plus.

  • Experience using Adobe Premier Pro, Illustrator and Photoshop.

The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Individual must occasionally lift and/or move up to 5 pounds.

  • Work Environment:  This job operates in a professional office environment where standard      office equipment such as computer, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines are utilized. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.

  • Location: Tria Health is currently located in Overland Park, KS but will be moving to Kansas City, MO (Crossroads area) in the Fall of 2022. This is not a remote job position.

  • Hours:  Flexible workweek but ideally 40-hour workweek, Monday – Friday 8-4:30.
